My aim

My intention is to provide you with natural photographs of your family, timeless images which capture the essence of childhood.

How it works

The emphasis is on natural photography, using available light and natural backdrops, away from the constraints of the studio. Children are usually more relaxed in a familiar environment, so I prefer to work with them in the comfort of their own home or perhaps at a nearby location. The session usually lasts between one and two hours, depending on the number of children and their age etc.

What to wear

Clothes that the children feel relaxed in, fairly casual not to formal. Fashionable logos can date quickly, so it would be best if these aren't too prominent.

What it costs

The location portrait fee is £75. This includes 2 (10x8) inch prints, and a CD for you to choose any additional prints from.

I would normally expect to have between 20 and 30 quality images from a shoot.

Images are available in black & white or colour.
